White Sage Smudge Stick
Smudging has traditionally been used to safeguard households & spaces against negativity that could interfere with sleep, peace , or positive energy blessings. Some research suggests that sage contains compounds that could help ease insomnia. Classic garden sage (Salvia officinalis) is sometimes burned like white sage. Burning Instructions:
Light the bundle from the top end or crush the leaves to be burned separately. A light flame is needed to burn the smudge stick, and the flame should be blown out almost immediately. The smoke that comes from the smudge stick is what’s important, not the flame. Walk through your rooms clockwise and fan the smoke into the corners, ceiling, and floor. Feel free to open windows and doors to release excessive negative energy that may exist.
As the smoke lightly fills the space, say a prayer or hold an intention of cleansing and removing negative energies from the space.
